TROOP’s flight algorithm simplifies choosing flights by analyzing factors like duration, cost, and environmental impact. It uses a regression model to predict flight satisfaction, balancing multiple preferences to recommend the optimal option.
💡Note: If some features look different or are unavailable, it could be due to your organization's specific license or purchase.
On the Transport page, you have the opportunity to explore a wide array of flight options that match the criteria outlined in your travel policy.
Take your time to scroll through all the available choices and simply click on any flight to gather detailed information about the departure and arrival airports, as well as any potential layovers.
⚠️ Note: Keep in mind, Troop is a research and estimations tool. The selected flights are just for estimation purposes and no booking will be done within the Troop platform.
How to change flights?
If the pre-selected flight does not meet your expectation, you have the flexibility to choose a more suitable option. Simply click on the "Select" button (located to the right, under the cost) to change your flight.
Outbound and Inbound Schedule
Review the inbound and outbound arrival and departure times for all origins and attendees on one schedule on the same transport page by clicking the Logistics option.
How to find the best flight?
On the left side of the flight selection pop up, you will find filters 
By adjusting these filters, you can search for flights that better match your preferences and requirements.
- Flight dates: check or uncheck the dates Troop is evaluating for flights.
- Stops: preferred number of stops.
- Flight duration: maximum travel hours round trip, including layovers.
- Price: maximum cost per person round trip.
- Cabin: Select the preferred cabin class.
- Carbon Emissions: maximum CO2 emission per person round trip.
- Meeting policies: show flight options that are not feasible for your meeting times or dates AND/OR show flight options even when not matching meeting policy.
- Departure and Arrival Times: filter for preferred flight arrival and departure times.
- Carriers: toggle to select all airlines for Troop to consider in the flight selection process.
- Alliances: check or uncheck options to specify preferred airline alliances for Troop to consider in the flight selection process.
- Airlines: check or uncheck options to specify preferred airlines for Troop to consider in the flight selection process.
