How are flights selected?

The TROOP flight algorithm considers a company's travel policy, preferred airlines, and the best balance between cost and time when selecting a flight.

TROOP's priority is to find non-stop flights while also taking into account the start and end times of your meeting and the cabin class you prefer.

TROOP will determine the best departure date to ensure the attendee arrives at their meeting on time. Please note that these flights are for estimation purposes only and are not booked.

TROOP considers the following factors in order of importance:

  1. Duration and number of stops
  2. Time window (outbound): the duration between the outbound flight arrival time and the meeting start time
  3. CO2 emissions
  4. Time window (inbound): the duration between the inbound flight departure time and the meeting end time
  5. Preferred carriers
  6. Price
  7. Cabin class
