Baseline
After inputting all attendees and origins, selecting your dates, and choosing a policy, you are ready add your baselines destination on the Where to Meet tab. After inputting your baseline, TROOP will run an analysis which collects flight data and costs, co2 emissions, accommodation costs, and more for that location.
🔥 Your baseline is your preferred place to meet. If you're unsure where to meet, choose the location with more attendees or where you met last year if it's a recurring meeting.

Shortlisting Destinations 🧳
After adding your baseline, TROOP will identify and rank destinations that could be better alternatives to your current baseline. You can shortlist these destinations which will trigger TROOP to run the same analysis performed for the baseline destination, pulling in flight data and costs, co2 emissions, accommodation costs, and more.

Filters & Sorting
You can organize the destination suggestions by using the filters or sorting them.
You can filter by:
- Direct Flights/Number of Stops
- Flight Duration
- Carbon Emissions
- Shortlisted
You can sort destinations by:
- Travel time
- Number of stops
- Carbon Emissions
Re-analyze or Re-fresh Data
The "Refresh data" icon next to a destination indicates the need to re-analyze the destinations in light of new information or changes. Click on “Refresh data” and Troop will provide up-to-date information on those destinations.
If you would like to refresh the data for all shortlisted destinations, you can use the "Shortlisted" filter at the top left and then click "Refresh all destinations"
If you make changes to the travel policy, attendees, meeting dates, or the meeting start and end times, you may receive a pop up similar to the one seen below. Make sure to click "Refresh data" to ensure all your shortlisted destinations are re-analyzed with the most up-to-date information.
